If automatic tools already exist...
We all have used automatic translation and correction apps to help us out in a hurry. However, these tools don't know what our intention with the text is: they can correct spelling mistakes, but they will hardly understand what style, expressions and rhythms our production needs.
The same goes for translation: how would you translate 'spam' into another language? In fact, only an approximation would be reached and it would be necessary to be aware of how to use words to contain (almost) all their original aspects.
Machines can be useful, but it is only through dialogue and human empathy that we reach true effectiveness.
